Diageo Business Services have been operating in the heart of Budapest for 15 years and provide added value for the company on a global level in the area of Finance, HR, Commercial Support, IT, Treasury and Business Intelligence.

The taste:

•Perform month-end accounting & reporting responsibilities such as calculation of accruals and provisions and BFC reporting. Prepare and post journals as required in Oswald.
•Carry out Bailment inventory reconciliations on a regular and documented basis.
•Carry out general ledger reconciliation on a regular and documented basis for stock, stock in transit, stock revaluation and other BS / P&L accounts.
•Inventory R&O review, forecasting.
•Issue resolution for identified process deficiencies. Preparation of adjustment journals / manual invoicing.
•Support the potentially redundant stock management process with financial calculations.
•Calculate / maintain stock provisions and facilitate appropriate reporting in IMC ledger.
•Stakeholder management about BS/P&L follow ups.
•Maintain and support Supply Chain internal controls (CARM)

Ingredients:

•Carry out Bailment and General Ledger reconciliation on a regular and documented basis for stock, GRNI, stock in transit
•Deliver control agenda (satisfactory PWC/CARM audit ratings)
•Support and control accurate stock related financial process flow in SAP
•Follow up on BS provision and P&L effects and regularly discuss it with the senior stakeholders.
Senior responsibilities:
•Professional coordination of other team members in case of projects
•Participate and coordinate complex problem solving process
•Cooperate with other departments, participate in cross-functional projects

How to serve:

•University or college degree in finance/accounting
•At least 2 years experience in finance/ accounting field
•Excellent financial system and Excel skills
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•Hard working personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity
•Fluency in English is a must
•Experience with Shared services process activities
•SAP knowledge is an advantage
