The taste:
The team`s main objective is to provide global in-house banking services including cash management to Diageo subsidiaries. Based on business priorities and considering sustainable workload the following accountabilities are allocated amongst the individual team members.

How to serve:
•Bank account management and related daily operational issues: payments, reconciliations, statements, month-end close procedures, relevant bank documentation, General Ledger ownership, intercompany settlements via the in-house bank, clearing accounts
•Create and maintain accurate financial records of the in-house bank accounts in respect of all financing transactions used
•Maintain rigorous controls across treasury processes within Global Diageo Business Services
•Be the first escalation point for daily operational issues: manual and automated payments, month-end close procedures, journal entries, cash at bank GL ownership, clearing accounts
•Contribute to global liquidity, cash management and other simplification and improvement projects •Provide accurate short term cash flow forecast to other functions of Group Treasury
•Drive and lead improvements in the following areas: payments and all other in-house bank SAP processes
•Control the daily and monthly banking and accounting (operational) activities of the team

•University or College degree in Finance/Economics
•Speaks English fluently
•Understands basic accounting policies and standards and has good technical accounting knowledge
•Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Is enthusiastic to solve problems
•Is a good team player but able to work individually
•Good knowledge of Excel macros and Access is an advantage
•Is self-confident, accurate and pays attention to details
