Business Intelliegence Manager

Reporting to the Global Digital Director, Data & Analytics, we have a newly created role for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our agile, creative and resourceful team to help lead the charge in the automation of digital marketing effectiveness reporting (all paid, owned and earned channels). This role is based in our London offices and is an incredibly important hire to help accelerate the growth of digital at Diageo. You will be expected to help transform Diageo into a leader in consumer insight-driven decision making.

The role will be wide and varied which means you will be liaising with a large number of both internal and external stakeholders, therefore exceptional communications skills will be key.


•Manage initial development (with 3rd party marketing BI vendor) of the cloud-based platform and roll-out schedule to provide local and brand teams with marketing performance dashboards
•Management of platform improvements (new data sources and visualisations) based on stakeholder requirements in partnership with the 3rd party vendor
•Implementation and monitoring of data quality assurance processes
•Own and manage Diageo’s approach to deriving insight from our global business intelligence platform
•Develop best practice toolkits and training programs to help our brand and local teams leverage the value from our business intelligence platform and to ensure platform adoption
•Vendor management
•Be Diageo’s subject matter expert on business intelligence, and constantly seek to improve our capabilities by staying on top of industry developments
•Be passionate about generating actionable insight
•Presentations to internal and external teams
•Stakeholder management


We are looking to appoint a passionate individual with several years’ demonstrable hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based BI platforms (ideally based on digital marketing data), as well as experience in working with large numbers of stakeholders to push forward a common agenda.

This talented person could either be sat within an in-house BI team or agency but must have experience interacting with brand teams.
We are looking for a confident personality with good communication skills. A person who takes an open and inclusive approach, and demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills (Marketing, Technology)
