Data Centre & UPS Tendering Engineer

Your responsibilities:

1. Prepare technical solutions and proposal documents to customer specifications and requirements using their technical skills and Schneider design and process tools.
2. Understand and mitigate against technical and commercial risk with support from the Solution Risk Management lead, Legal and Commercial Management teams.
3. Ensure the specifications of equipment meets with the customer’s requirements and needs.
4. Program and Project manage bids to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met in a timely and professional manner.

About you:

The candidate should be educated to HNC level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, as this role will involve technical solution design.
Customer Focused with experience of the Schneider product offerings for three phase UPS, white space solutions, rack cooling power management, software and PreFab solutions.
Project and Program Management experience would be an advantage.
Computer literate, good knowledge and experience of excel and word required.
Experience of Schneider process tools, CPQ, Bfo configuration tools would be advantageous although training can be provided
A good communicator, essential for both internal and external contacts.
A team Player with self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and good time management skills who are prepared to work to strict deadlines.
