Job Summary

This position will be located in Djibouti, Africa.

Performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.

Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.

May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, following standard operating procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle. Position may require travel.

This position is contingent upon task order award and customer needs.

Must meet security clearance requirements.

This position has a rotating shift.

When required, you may be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work.

Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.

In accordance with the contract, all personnel performing work require United States citizenship or acceptable proof of naturalization prior to employment.
