Supply Support Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations; coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems; researches functional problem area.

Performs as the DSS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to DSS; performs DSS-MIS functions IAW C- DSS-MIS; serves as the QMF query writer to write new queries as required.

Uses DSS and other Government-Furnished Data Systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist in logistics element analyses and studies.

Assist in reviewing reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc., and generating reports.

Assist in preparing routine logistics correspondence.

Assist with the entry and maintenance of logistics support data and documents in computer data bases.

Support logistics element(s) tasks.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field preferred. 4 years of job related experience. Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel.

Must meet security clearance requirements.

This position has a rotating shift.

When required, you may be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work.

Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.

In accordance with the contract, all personnel performing work require United States citizenship or acceptable proof of naturalization prior to employment
