Construction Safety / Security Engineer


The Hague, Netherlands

Job Summary
AECOM has been assigned a logistics project for a major infrastructure construction programme in the Netherlands including the site wide logistics management of the logistics supply chain. The project includes the site facilities management of the logistics hub and the movement of people, goods and equipment for construction.
The experienced Security Manager provides security supervision and technical assistance to the project.
He/she is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring security programmes in compliance with specific governmental standards and/or regulatory requirements.
Liases with and maintains effective working relationships with the security organisation of the client.
Supports Project Managers in order to secure progress of the security programmes, detect problem areas and assist with remedial actions.

Minimum Requirements
Engineer / Health and safety Planner with 15+ years experience
Fluency in Dutch and English
Thorough knowledge in security processes as they relate to construction execution and planning
Experience in managing security programmes in the aviation industry for operational airports

Preferred Qualifications
Works mainly on client site.
