Supply Chain Analyst


Conover, United States of America

Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Analyst will execute planning and procurement activities: including, but not limited to, inventory planning, procurement, customer order management, supplier and database management to support the Company goals as well as ensuring the customer’s needs are met. Act as a liaison between suppliers, , and internal personnel.

Key Responsibilities
Effectively coordinates a variety of supply chain activities including: material procurement, inventory analysis, domestic and international logistics and cultivates supplier relationships and accountability
Verifies the accuracy of information created and maintains data within various systems, databases and external files and ensures data integrity
Establishes and maintains a harmonious relationship with Customers and Suppliers in order to enhance performance and reputation for the Company
Independently drive solutions to complex supply chain issues and effectively communicate with all parties under limited supervision
Edit requisitions and receiving reports, investigate errors, and communicate, effectively address and resolve non-conformances, price discrepancies, stock-outs, returns or other issues in a timely manner with suppliers
Demonstrates importance of confidentiality and the ability to represent the Company in a professional manner
Implements and documents lean and sustainable supply chain processes/solutions for the site
Provide forecasting/purchasing work (requisition and PO issuances) to 5-7 raw material suppliers
Manages a small to medium deck of customers with daily updating of customer portals with delivery information/plan (JIT/Expediting)
Monthly MRO on hand review and ordering support
Backfills for other Supply Chain team members as needed

Qualifications / Experience / Skills
Ability to effectively work in a team environment – to effectively listen and communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Demonstrate ability to be proactive and take initiative, including the performance of duties under limited supervision and exercising independent judgement
Ability to aid the staff with development of CI Plans and Key Improvement Indicators (KPI’s).
Experienced working in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint (Intermediate level data manipulation with Excel using pivots/macros/functions a must)
