We’re looking to recruit an OEM Account Manager to develop a key sales patch for our Industry business unit. The Industry business is a leader in the design and manufacture of automation and control solutions. This ranges from Best in Class leading products such as contactors, push buttons, and enclosures through to advanced automation solutions such as PLCs, VSDs, Servos, SCADA, iPCs & HMIs and networking solutions for a diverse range of customers, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), control panel builders (CPBs), and system integrators (SIs).

Covering the M62 Corridor from Manchester to Leeds, the OEM Account Manager will visit existing and target customers, developing new business opportunities and gaining orders. We’re very much looking for a “smart” sales person – someone who can build a strong internal network with other Schneider business units and leverage existing relationships customers of those business units, and offer cross-stream, “solution” sales, ensuring increased customer satisfaction (and, of course, repeat business!)

Qualifications

You’ll be comfortable with developing new sales pipeline, confident selling to senior level, and familiar with at least some of the automation products listed above. You’ll ideally be educated to at least HND/HNC level.
