Business Development Manager - Distributers & Partners

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our Field Services team as a Business Development Manager with a focus on our Channel Partners. This is a National Role and so extensive UK travel will be required – you will be home based.

Your Mission

As the Business Development Manager for Channel Partners you will be principally responsible for developing and executing operational business plans into existing IT Elite Partners, Electrical Distribution/IT Distributors/IT Resellers and Panel Builders for Schneider Electric Field Services. Your aim will be to profitably grow the sales of Schneider Electric Field Services attached to Electrical Distributers/IT Products. You will build and establish strong and lasting relationships at all levels within the target account. As the Business Development Manager you will be expected to train the channel in our new offers and open up a partnership network for delivering long term orders growth

Your responsibilities

·Maintain and increase the profitable sales of Schneider Electric’s offer within the Key Account list for Channel Partners
·Provide a coordinated approach to your target accounts with the External and Internal Sales Teams to deliver growth in all Field Services Offers
·To track and manage all Field Service Offers sold via the Channel. In particular, manage the Service Plan, Modernisation, Consultancy and On Demand Portfolio
·Develop and sustain effective customer relationships throughout named accounts.
·Create account plans for each of your key Partners in partnership with External Sales Leader
·Coordinate with Marketing, actions to open new market opportunities

About you

You will be taking over a very strong region for the business and will manage and develop the existing accounts, as well as developing new business opportunities in your area.

Therefore, ideally you will have a good technical sales track record working with partners in either the energy or IT sector.
