Job Description

Amazon Tickets is seeking a Process Business Analyst to join our Operations Team and help scale the business. Our preferred candidate possesses advanced Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) skills combined with expert data management skills and will be focused on driving process improvement, automation and eliminating manual processes wherever possible whilst using data to inform actions. You must be comfortable working with multiple teams concurrently to identify and document existing practices and processes, and experienced in consulting with many stakeholders, whilst driving change initiatives within a fast paced environment. You will be expected to manage projects effectively and understand how to implement a RACI process when delivering change. You will also be expected to have excellent data handling skills and experience with database reporting tools such as Tableau and SQL skills as you will be required to gather relevant data sets and use your data and reporting skills to deliver key insights as well as supporting the Operations team’s day to day KPI definition and reporting needs. Above all, you must be evangelical about the impact of change on the customer.

Responsibilities
· Document existing processes using Business Process Management Notation (BPMN)
· Collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive process improvements.
· Develop operational plans to improve manual processes and eliminate/automate where possible
· Investigate systematic problems and business issues, consult key stakeholders, document proposed solutions and drive change in the business.
· Work with technical teams to identify user problems (internal and customer), and provide documented business and technical requirements to automate solutions with technology.
· Educate peers and management on processes and expectations to meet production goals and objectives
· Interface with business customers, internal teams and the Business Intelligence team to deliver ad hoc reports to support various functions and events within the business
· Work with Business Intelligence team to design, implement, and support scheduled reporting (including KPIs for Amazon Tickets Operations Team)
· Use Tableau and SQL skills to gather data and generate reports as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Experience in creating detailed Business Requirement Documentation
· Ability to work with business owners to define key business requirements
· Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) knowledge to an advanced level
· Significant business change and business process re-engineering experience
· Strong experience of developing operational plans to eliminate/ automate manual processes
· Experience in designing and implements business intelligence reporting
· Expertise in Oracle SQL/MySQL/VBA
· Advanced experience with database reporting tools (specifically Tableau)
· Advanced MS Excel skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to produce high quality graphical and analytical reporting outputs
· Experience running change projects and delivering to successful outcome

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in a high volume transaction retail business in a similar role
· Highly analytical, detail oriented and extremely organised
