Creative Producer (Fashion)

Amazon Fashion is building a new and exciting creative hub. The Creative Producer (EU) will report to the Content Director (EU) and will work closely with the wider Amazon Fashion Content, Finance, Site Merchandising, Art & Design, Vendor Management, PR media buying and Private Brand teams as well as outside production companies and Amazon Fashion’s creative agency.

The purpose of this role is to art buy and produce fashion shoots that will not only inspire our customers and build fashion credibility for Amazon Fashion, but come in on budget and on deadline every time.

This role is responsible for the budgeting, production and talent discovery for all Amazon Fashion EU’s marketing assets across site, email and ATL campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

· Owning the Editorial Imaging budget; working in partnership with the finance team tracking, managing and reporting. Focus on maximizing efficiencies
· Working closely with the content director and marketing director to understand their vision for the brand’s visual communications and facilitate bringing that vision to life
· Establishing strong relationships with model, photographer, styling, art director and HMU agents as well as production and post production houses. Acting as an ambassador for Amazon Fashion to build our fashion credibility within the fashion industry, enabling us access to the best talent
· Negotiating the best rates for talent, models, production and post production in order to maximize the budget
· Casting; liaising with the content director to create a seasonal casting brief (women, men and children) as a part of the seasonal creative direction pack. Casting models throughout the season against that brief. Holding regular open castings throughout the season to keep abreast of the market
· Talent spotting; identifying new photographers, stylists, videographers and HMU artists
· Seasonal planning; owning the seasonal shoot calendar and communicating it to the wider fashion team at the start of the season. Working with the content team to finalise shot count and ensure all samples are received into the studio in good time
· Pre-production; booking talent, locations, studios, travel, catering, equipment, prep sessions with stylists, preparing and circulating call sheets. For location shoots working with a production company
· Shooting ensuring shoot days run smoothly, being onset when possible
· Post production; liaising with content director, photographer and AD to ensure final edit has been selected and any retouch notes completed. Communicating with the post production house to ensure they have all assets and understand deadlines

Required skills and qualifications:

· Encyclopedic knowledge of and passion for fashion photography and model casting
· Forensic attention to detail, especially around budgets/financials
· Excellent negotiating skills to drive cost efficiencies and favourable terms for Amazon Fashion
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple work-streams with competing priorities
· Experience working with performance metrics in an online retail/marketing environment
· Highly tech literate, should be able to master Amazon tools quickly and use them and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint to simplify processes and optimize ways of working. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and HTML/CSS/Javascript a bonus
· Ability to work to tight and pressured deadlines and handle unexpected events calmly
· Knowledge of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and allocate resources
· Creative thinker with excellent taste levels
· Enthusiastic collaborator with excellent communication skills
· Strong document/business case writing skills
· Able to own and lead significant process projects with multiple stakeholders
· Customer obsessed – always looking for ways to improve the customer’s experience
