We’re seeking an experienced, Operations Manager to lead one of our Prime Now Fulfillment Centers. You’ll be part of a very exciting and dynamic business, offering a truly unique and unparalleled customer experience. When it comes to ultra-fast deliveries, Prime Now is ahead of the game. Customers around the world can place orders for 2hr or 1hr deliveries, with our Fulfillment Centres delivering in a matter of minutes. The Operations teams are at the heart of making this possible. They control the vast range of fast-paced inventory, from inbound to outbound, and work hard to ensure that our customers receive what they want, Now.

As a Site Leader, you’ll deliver inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you manage, but at the same time, you don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary. You’ll be directly responsible for managing a team of Area Managers and will be entrusted with the overall responsibility and management of the site. The quality of your leadership is key to success in this role: you’ll motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work. You should be able to balance multiple competing priorities, whilst ensuring both short term tactical and long term strategic objectives are met.

Another key aspect of your role will be to continuously improve and standardize processes, ensuring their adherence and compliance to create a safe and efficient workplace. While doing so you will pushed to always think outside the box – Prime Now being a fertile ground to test new ideas, concepts and processes. The good ones invariable develop wings and are adapted throughout the network. Talk about making a dent! Job Description
Your role will be pivotal in the overall management, control, organization and direction of all operational teams and activities within your FC. Your responsibilities will include, amongst others:

· Maintain the highest health and safety standards throughout the Fulfilment Centre and promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the team.
· Lead, motivate and support the entire site team from T1 associates, Supervisors AMs to support staff. Set clear objectives and performance managing each member of the leadership team.
· Work closely with the support teams (Safety, Delivery, Ops Integration, HR, Facilities, Security and IT) and fellow site leaders across Europe, to ensure alignment with process standards and ensure best practices are shared.
· Be the focal point in your Fulfilment Centre to roll out innovative new processes and ideas, in collaboration with other worldwide Prime Now teams.
· Conduct weekly resource planning, liaising with finance, retail and supply chain teams to deliver cost effective staffing structures and strong operational performance.
· Drive performance based on real-time data and creative, deep dive analyses. Share results, challenges, ideas and actions on routine meetings with central teams, Regional Operational Managers and fellow Site Leaders.
· Be a Subject-Matter Expert on larger processes and activities within the Fulfilment Centre, ensuring your team is also trained and aligned with each process.
· Drive change and continuous process improvement, using various methodologies, in order to deliver efficiencies, lower cost structure and make the customer experience truly awesome.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will:
· Possess a degree level qualification
· Ability to motivate and engage large, diverse teams.
· You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· You’re competent in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track record in a similar, fast-paced logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment,
· You like details and thrive on data driven analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree
· You possess a grasp of Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques.
