Senior Engineer - Public Health, Global Delivery Center

Job Summary
“As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Center (GDC) organisation has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services to other parts of AECOM offices around the world. At present, GDC has a core team of 150+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon, India. Further growth is underway to meet the plan of establishing 300+ team size, by the end of FY16, to provide technical services in multi-disciplinary building engineering, Architecture and Structural disciplines. In the initial phases of growth, dedicated teams are formed to cater to the needs of UAE and UK offices of AECOM�.

The position will be responsible for managing the public health design team and developing technically sound public health design solutions, preparing public health design documentation for international projects, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing intermediate and junior members of public health engineering staff.

Job Summary:

Reviewing and checking public health reports and drawings to ensure quality of output.
Provide high level technical expertise when applying public health engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
Communication to governmental authorities.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience on working in the Public Health Engineering design.
A minimum 5 years of experience in the international projects and preferably in UK
To work for the design of the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors. High rise building experience shall be advantageous.
Experience in the design of the Public Health Engineering (Sanitary and storm water drainage, cold and hot water domestic water supply, gas storage and distribution systems, miscellaneous piping services, etc.).
Knowledge of working on Fire Fighting Systems shall be advantageous
Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
Experience in MEP Revit, Navisworks, Excel, Power Point and Word.
Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability.
Effective communication skills.
Good attention to details.
Experience in the design of the Public Health Engineering (Sanitary and storm water drainage, cold and hot water domestic water supply, gas storage and distribution systems, miscellaneous piping services, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering. Master’s degree in Environment Engineering shall be preferred. Experience of working on Sustainable Design with LEEDAP, BREEM or any other equivalent memberships shall be advantageous.
