National Account Manager - Casual Dining


An exciting role in a fast growing area of the industry within a business that offers opportunities for significant career development. This National role, sitting within the On Trade Managed Retail Team, allows the successful candidate to join and make a mark in Diageo GB by adding expertise in the 'With Food' sector. Nurturing existing relationships, creating new ones and adding value to our customers, whilst growing the Diageo brands at the same time. Using category insight and understanding our customers, your role will be to grow our brands in a number of ways:



  • Our core brands gaining distribution and status

  • Unlocking value for customers and enhancing consumer experience through our Reserve Brands portfolio

  • Creating new value for the sector through innovation in brands, categories & serve solutions


As in individual you will be a commercially minded, customer focused individual with a knowledge of selling in this area. An account manager who builds relationships quickly and sustainably with a level of reliability. Working in a team that is constantly evolving means someone who wants all the solutions handed to them will struggle but someone who works creatively and thinks outside the box will be given the internal support to flourish.



Essential qualifications / experience required



  • Customer Management or other relevant Commercial or relevant management experience with track record in successful Negotiation

  • Excellent relationship-building skills

  • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to derive insight from data

  • Robust and Rapid commercial understanding, P&L literacy - innate numerical and analytical skills

  • Ability to interact at and deliver change through different levels

  • Team player, focussed on total company delivery

  • Insatiable commercial curiosity and desire to mould and refine own role description

  • Ability to excite and mobilise peers/reports and internal/external senior management

  • Full driving license
