Associate - Associate Director, Leveraged Finance - Business Analysis Team

1. Provide deal execution service to deal teams: Bat Pack, ECA front sheets, RORA, booking forms. Also carry out checking when required.
2. Undertake ratings for new deals as well as regular and special reviews
3. Liaise with overseas offices in the compilation of management and other reports as well as PAS transactions
4. Carry out reporting within the department and assist in the creation and implementation of upgraded/new reports. Management information
5. Manage testing of BAT Manual
6. Manage certain discreet functions within BAT, to include some people management as agreed (Rolling Reviews, Provisional Transaction Report).
7. Provide general support and training to other team members, as and when required.
8. Deputise for Team Head in relation to reconciliations and checking

4. Ability to take lead on projects, including directing team members, with support of Manager.
5. All output to be prepared to a high degree of accuracy (ratings, CDM, LIS, reports).
6. Ability to push back to deal teams for proper and accurate base data (mostly ratings related)
7. Pro-actively recommend new and useful ways to report/monitor carry out BAT functions.
8. Flexibility to learn and/or take on other BAT-related roles and responsibilities, including project and people management roles, as required.

B) The Person


Essential
1. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a bank reporting/portfolio monitoring/loans admin environment, at least one year in LBO market, with MBO transaction execution
2. Knowledge of bank systems
3. Strong communication and presentational skills
4. Highly numerate and capable of analysing company accounts, in a ratings context. Some knowledge of credit analysis. Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate data.
5. Ability to use web-based information services.
6. Understanding key portfolio measures, such as covenant compliance.

Qualifications and Training:

Essential:

- Completion of courses on basic financial analysis and credit skills, credit risk measurement

Desirable:
- Degree/Tertiary level qualification
