Senior Technical Program Manager, IMDb

United Kingdom, United Kingdom

IMDb is the world’s most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content. With over 250 million unique monthly users, IMDb is already one of the largest global properties in the world, but as the Entertainment industry rapidly evolves, we want to take it to the next level.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to build the systems, processes and infrastructure needed to connect with our growing worldwide audience. Specifically, you will define and then execute the roadmap to transition IMDb from its current English-centric data model, into a true multi-lingual data provider. You will work cross-functionally to lead technical designs and requirements, and then collaborate with multiple teams across IMDb and Amazon (Alexa/Echo, Amazon Video etc) to implement the new systems. You will build new, friendly, easy-to-use contribution interfaces, leveraging the power of our robust contributor base consisting of hundreds of thousands of worldwide users. You will define new and enhance existing automated ingestion sources, expanding the ways in which IMDb consumes content. You will own IMDb’s global multi-lingual expansion, rebuilding our core data systems to provide regionalized contextual entertainment content. Finally, you will work closely with senior leadership as we improve and expand IMDb’s worldwide presence.

This is a rare opportunity to become a key player within the team that provides the content that powers all of IMDb, which in turn sits at the intersection of entertainment, media, and technology within Amazon, the world’s most innovative and consumer-centric company.
