Analyst Treasury Operations

Ensure all trades are settled for FX and MM products advising Front Office of any incorrect booked trades in a timely manner.
Reporting to Team Leader ensuring established processes are adapted/enhanced to ensure a consistently high level of service.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely booking and settlement of all related treasury products (FX/MM) with the time frame set by management with full compliance with P&P.
• Identify and resolve errors promptly and report to the section head or deputy.
• Maintain and improve department IOP and Tier 3 guides.
• To cross train on all roles of the team (using skills matrix)
• Ensure all transactions are booked correctly and checked/authorised.
• To have a flexible attitude when carrying out varied duties.

Key performance indicators:

• Successful implementation of new processes and procedures enhancing controls and mitigating risk.
• Comprehensive and effective set-up of Management information to enable Senior management to monitor the business and satisfy HO and other report requirements.
• Reporting is produced on a timely and accurate basis.
• All audit requirements fulfilled within related timeframes ensuring any gaps are identified, documented and communicated in a timely manner.
• Demonstrable compliance with all MHBK Policies

Knowledge & Skills:

• Demonstrate ability to document accurate processes and procedures.
• Confidently demonstrate to Auditors the functions with the Settlements t
• Demonstrate product knowledge – FX and MM for all branches.
• Demonstrate General Banking Skills
• Demonstrate knowledge on Money Laundering procedures
• System use skills on Microsoft office manager products.
• Extensive system knowledge – Matching /PACS /Midas+/G-base
• Demonstrate knowledge – domestic and overseas settlement
