We are seeking a head of EU Supply for Amazon Publisher Services who will manage the business development team for Amazon Publisher Services in Europe. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to define and drive the next generation of Amazon’s mobile, web and video advertising and publisher programs by partnering with the largest publishers.

We are looking for a candidate who can act as an ambassador for Amazon/A9 in Europe, partner closely with the Amazon Media Group, and define local publisher requirements that will improve advertiser and publisher experiences and increase on-platform monetisation. In this role, you will:

· Lead our supply efforts in the EU and represent Amazon/A9 to internal/external stakeholders
· Source and secure supply relationships with leading web, mobile and video publishers and developers.
· Identify, gather, define and communicate local publisher requirements to shape our global publisher product strategy
· Partner with Amazon Media Group and other local Amazon teams to drive advantageous advertising opportunities for Amazon and our third party advertisers.
· Use data and analysis to align partner supply and demand goals.
· Support internal brand marketers in leveraging ad technology and drive adoption of on-platform spend.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Deep understanding of online advertising ecosystem and market dynamics, including DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs.
· Proven experience of working directly with customers and/or external partners and closing strategic partnerships.
· Familiar with web, mobile and video revenue and yield optimisation strategies.
· An effective communicator; an ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
· Proactive attitude with excellent project, organisational and time management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working with large broadcast and leading comScore and AGOF listed media owners.
· Deep understanding of publisher monetization strategies.
· Track record of organization-level influence
· Excellent analytical and planning abilities to design and oversee programmatic business development efforts
· Strong business development and negotiation skills with the ability to initiate relationships, assess partnership viability, work through long deal cycles, and close complex deals
· Track record of successful online advertising and media buying negotiations to meet/exceed customer acquisition and engagement goals
· Proven ability to own complex, strategic partnerships with industry leading organizations
· Strong persuasion skills with ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
· Technically competent with a strong understanding of online advertising technologies
· Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical work to get things done quickly
· Data driven and “quantitative” mentality with an ability to back up ideas with facts or examples
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to speak effectively to any audience
· Entrepreneurial with an inherent sense of urgency and get things done quickly while maintaining high standards
· Record of successfully leading and maintaining high performing teams
· Experience in working within an international role; languages are a strong plus.
· Bachelor Degree in business or related field.
