Customer Operations Manager

DESCRIPTION

Our Customer Operations Managers drive business success by doing the right thing for employees and customers. They work alongside their direct reports managing day to day operations, contributing to financial success, building and leading great teams and creating a unique and customer-centric consumer experience.

Some of the position’s key responsibilities include:
· Leading and developing a team of 3-4
· Creating an efficient weekly labour schedule considering hours of operations and sales volume requirements
· Performing day-to-day operations, interacting with customers and fulfilling orders
· Handling administrative aspects of the business including managing inventory, technology updates and asset management
· Thinking of new ways to create memorable customer experiences that enable the business to meet and exceed the business plan
· Measuring customer experience, performance and concessions
· Troubleshooting and escalating issues to appropriate stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A completed Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience
· 3+ years experience building and leading teams of 2 or more in customer-facing roles
· Experience in a role responsible for interactions with customers on a daily basis
· Passion for Amazon and commitment to delighting customers
· You are energetic, determined & tenacious and will thrive in a challenging environment on a daily basis. Candidates will need to be able to: stand and/or walk for periods of between 8 and 12 hours per shift (flex and part-time shifts may vary) and lift and move products up to 15kg in weight
Possess a valid driver's license
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and nights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to attract, hire and develop a team
· Experience in a customer-facing environment
· Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, complemented with the ability to problem solve independently
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including knowing how to motivate yourself, your managers, and associates to meet critical milestones
