Regional Learning and Development Manager - Central Region

As a Learning and Development Specialist you will support all AMZL functions with training and will report to the Learning and Development Manager.

The Amazon transportation team is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Learning and Development Team Lead being responsible for our manager’s on-boarding program. You will also play a critical role in the Learning and Development team supporting change within the organisation and ensuring all training intervention represent best practice and is industry leading.

Reporting directly to the Learning and Development manager the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years supervisor/team lead experience with a training background gained within a transport and storage industry or a similar international fast paced customer driven environment. The role will require national coverage and so an element of travel including nights away should be expected.

You will be responsible for:
· Manage Amazon’s Learning and Development team on a daily bases helping them meet their goals of improving safety, productivity and the overall customer experience.
· Ensure training is delivered in an effective and efficient way.
· Support the development of learning solution with the wider learning team.
· Evaluate Amazon’s learning interventions to ensure they meet the highest standards and for continuous improvement.
· Act as an ambassadors for Amazon core values.
· Monitor and evaluate the training delivery of Amazon Learning and Development Associates and Approved Trainers.
· Must be willing to work flexible schedules / shifts as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's level degree in learning and development or psychology or related fields.
· Mininum of 3 years work experience in a learning and development position.
· First management experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint and knowledge of working with sharepoints.
· Strong Interpersonal skills - develops and maintains good working relationships with internal customers, treating others with respect, building trust and rapport.
· Drivers license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A recognised Train the Train qualification or instructor certificate would be an advantage as would a team Lead/supervisor certificate
· DSA,ADI
· RTITB, AITB ISSAR, CITB
· Level 3 Award in Education and Training (Formally PTTLS)
· Or Similar
