What’s more we have become the first in the world to win a best TV series Golden Globe, not to mention our recent Emmy and Academy Award triumphs. The pace at which create and release fantastic Original content is only growing. As of now customers can engage with great titles such as American Gods, The Grand Tour and Man in the High Castle in over 200 countries and on a plethora of devices.

The European marketing team for Amazon Prime Video is based in Central London and we have the responsibility of driving customer growth and engagement, through a very broad combination of marketing channels across Europe. While our office is based in London, our remit is EU-wide and we collaborate very closely with our colleagues in the US. We’ve grown rapidly in both size and influence and we’re looking for a future leader to join us.


As a Senior Marketing Manager in this role you need to have a passion for constant improvement, you never settle for the status quo and are always super curious. Clear structured thinking is second nature to you, enabling you to explain your thoughts on prioritization and recommendations. You are grounded in the customer at all times, understanding their behaviour and sensing what they are sensing. You move quickly from ideation to action, taking the business forward in terms of customer experience and business outcomes.

Through working with a consulting and drawing on the expertise of Channel owners, Engineering, Product, UX and analysis leads, you will be responsible for:
· Transforming the efficacy of our marketing through creating, implementing and managing the messaging and feature testing roadmap for our acquisition experience
· Leading the use of best in class testing methodologies
· Championing ongoing enhancements to our tooling and data, to deliver increasingly actionable insight on our customers and our measures of success
· Building and maintaining a warehouse for the intellectual legacy of the initiatives, enabling self-service and sharing of methodologies and learnings for current and future Prime Video teams.
· Acting as a POC for testing methodologies- actively building relationship and seeking out best practice among other global teams, Prime Video and from other Amazon teams
· Making recommendations based on complex trade-offs across 10+ EU locales and communicating those recommendations up to VP level.
You will achieve this through:
· Using your strong experience in roles close to the customer to interpret the behaviour behind the data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
· Using your highly developed analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools to ensure a deep understanding of the performance of tests
· Leveraging your knowledge of A/B testing methodologies to deliver highly controlled tests ensuring robust understanding of the incremental value of your changes
· Utilising your advanced organisational and communication skills to ensure your prioritisation recommendations are understood and bought into by all key stakeholders. And tests within and outside of your direct control, are prioritised executed in line with requirements, on time and to a high quality
· Using your strong communications skills to build strong co-beneficial relationships with other Amazonians doing similar work or dependant on your work
· Exploiting your natural interest in instrumentation and coding, to challenge product and engineering teams to deliver tools that support improved insight and capability for our test and learn initiatives
· Leveraging your attention to detail to execute multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently, providing agility without compromising high standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

For this role we require:
· Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering the day to day while defining and leading future direction.
· Highly analytical thinker, passionate about the value of data and compelled to find insight in it.
· A strong collaborator able to influence broadly, secure buy in and become a preferred partner of key global teams.
· High effective communicator able to crisply present complex and data rich proposals, both in written and verbal form.
· A Marketer embedded in the customer, with a history of driving change delivering material benefit to the customer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Further qualifications would be a plus:
· Bachelor's degree with good/very good results- or equivalent
Experience in scale consumer marketing
