Senior Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager
We’re the team behind Amazon Tickets, a brand new home for live entertainment where customers can find and discover tickets to music and theatre. We made our debut back in 2014 when we started selling theatre tickets to Amazon customers and by May 2015 we had every ticket to every West End show. We have since expanded our selection to include top music and comedy acts as well as regional and touring shows, launching our new website in December 2015. We add new shows every week, have access to exclusive offers and pre-sale opportunities and customers like what we have to offer.

We are seeking a Senior Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager to manage the acquisition of customers to Amazon Tickets from external channels. This role will be responsible for managing our paid search and free search channels as well as social and display marketing. .

Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in digital marketing in paid and free search channels. They must understand how to use data to understand behaviours and deliver traffic and conversion at scale. They should be comfortable in defining technical requirements for marketing capabilities, structuring test and learn mechanisms and optimisation of a marketing mix. The role will be responsible for managing an acquisition target and leading a team of marketers to deliver it. They should be commercial and own the sales number for their channels.

Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, and the ability to execute daily at the highest level. Having a strong analytical foundation is required. In addition to executing a variety of programs, the candidate will demonstrate strong organisational ability and requires excellent leadership/management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Develop acquisition marketing for Amazon Tickets.
· Own the sales number for sales driven by all external channels.
· Lead a small team of marketers focused on internal channels.
· Leverage data to analyse and optimise programs.
· Introduce new programs.
· Set up automation and personalisation wherever possible.
· Strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics measurement and campaign performance.
· Reporting on progress against goals and relevant marketing metrics.
· Liaise with other Amazon teams to share best practices and testing plans.
· Execute on new test and learn strategies, implement ongoing improvements and invest in areas that drive scalable results.
· Own key customer acquisition business metrics, support in-depth business reviews and present to senior executives.


· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimise to stretch targets
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and optimize marketing programs.
· Experience hiring and managing a team.


· Thorough understanding of direct marketing principles.
· Relentlessly high standards and a high attention to detail.
· Demonstrated success with industry leading digital marketing programs.
· Ability to plan strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution.
· Graduate degree.
