Graduate HR Assistant

Often as the first point of contact for our employees and managers, you’ll support, reassure and offer help to resolve queries or point people in the right direction. You’ll help analyse the data that we obtain via our different feedback channels and Invent and Simplify this to make it meaningful and to allow us to drive positive change.

As HR Assistant you will have the opportunity to support recruitment activities from facilitating to being a panel member. Your support to our employees and managers starts from the moment you onboard them in to Amazon, providing them with the support and direction they need in their first moments in their journey with us. This includes being a training resource to ensure all new managers with the CS Centre on HR resources/ tools, and carrying out regular brown bag sessions.

In addition as HR Assistant you will assist in the implementation and operation of all HR and Company Policies and Procedures. You will also assist in the scheduling of and take notes during Investigation, Disciplinary and Grievance meetings.

As HR Assistant you will partner with HR Shared Services (HRSS) to drive adoption, submit feedback and raising Trouble Tickets with action items and to be proactive in improving the ways in which we work. Another key stakeholder you will work with is the Payroll team where you will work closely with them and managers to reduce payroll defects.

You will be responsible for monitoring HR systems (e.g PeopleSoft and MyTime) and taking action as appropriate. This also includes the production of weekly and monthly reports and analysis on key HR data to include absence, attrition and ER data via the in-house management system. In addition, you will maintain, manage and regularly audit all manual and electronic personnel files to ensure we are data protection compliant.

In addition as HR Assistant you will have the opportunity to participate in local site and HR ad hoc projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Be a fresh graduate educated to degree level or equivalent
• Must be proactive and demonstrate a can do attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong HR Systems knowledge
• Strong Interpersonal skills- Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal customers. Treats others with respect. Builds trust and rapport.
• Must demonstrate flexibility in order to meet the business needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as a Human Resources Assistant, ideally within a large scale fast-paced Customer Service or Operations based environment

Experience of HR /payroll and or compensation benefits delivery.
