Job Profile
As Marketing Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for Eurotherm’s offer strategy and marketing roadmap. Leads a senior team that is charged with the worldwide product line contribution for Eurotherm’s multiple offers: Controllers & Recorders, Power Controllers and Systems Products. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing offers to identifying and defining new offers for the company. You will lead the team to build offers from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your domain expertise of the process control industry, market trends insights and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with your engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for all our offers, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

Job Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate the marketing activities of the different product lines within Eurotherm.

· Oversee product lifecycles – PLM - from initial proposal (ideation), through development, production, launch, sales and end of life (obsolescence).

· Develop, prioritise and manage the Product Road map. Identify trends in the marketplace when suggesting new products or product enhancements.

· Anticipate the end of life of product and establish conversion studies following PWP Process.

· Develop Market Segment intelligence, leading to tailored Market Segment value-propositions (vertical markets focus) and go to market strategy.

· Manage the Market Segment specific offers & their deployment in targeted Countries – understand the different market requirements: mature market / developing market.

· Involved in producing business cases to justify new product development and ensure that the strategic direction of our offers are in line with overall company goals and objectives.

· Analyse potential partner relationships (3rd party) to compliment the product offer.

· Coordinate with Schneider Electric product managers to leverage product offering and future product development.

· Develop sales arguments (pricing, features, specific tools...) against competition.

· Provide support in forecast and the business planning process.

· Lead and support the delivery of the offer training activity to our salesforce, partners and customer.

· Oversee the development, maintenance and ensure correct implementation of the marketing processes and procedures.

· Support the development and implementation of Eurotherm’s go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.



· Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Product Management role. Business School degree is a plus.

· Knowledgeable in technology and process control applications.

· Familiar with a variety of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures. Ideally has familiarity with Schneider Electric’s Offer Creation Process (OCP) and other related processes.

· Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

· Lead and direct the work of others.

· Strong team player, ability to work successfully with multicultural teams in an international and multi-site environment.

· Ability to adapt in a fast pace, complex and growing global business.
