Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Key Account Manager.

Mission:
To obtain profitable growth through increased market share of the automation transactional offer in the UK - This position is to penetrate, increase sales, manage opportunities, further Schneider energy automation ambitions within the UK, also to coordinate virtual teams to support, bid and win projects. Liaison and reporting into the global automation businesses shall also be the responsibility of this role.

Key Responsibilities / activities:
Successfully grow the current automation transactional business profitably in the UK through development and deployment of tactics and actions derived from the Energy Automation Strategy.
Understand customer needs and offer value-adding solutions; create a sense of partnership; respond to the demands of working with global customers.
Report into the UK Energy management team and Global Automation organisation on the market, competitors and UK performance.
Promote the Automation transactional offer internally and externally through supporting the UK front office and Energy Marketing department. Work at C Level within your key accounts to identify and align Schneider Electric strategy with the client in order to meet with company’s key short and long term goals and objectives.
Manage the efficient handling of all customer opportunities - Ensure systems, processes and tools are utilized and kept up to date rigorously providing timely and accurate reporting to the business and to the NSE - Segment Development.
Develop relationships with the Global Automation department and represent the UK in Global road mapping the current and future offers - Deliver key account value propositions to meet the client’s strategies and goals presenting it to the Schneider account team ensuring key objectives and messages are delivered.
Own the external and internal awareness and training of the automation solutions application offer in the UK through such as lunch-and-learn to CPD accredited training - Create and utilize key account relationship tools and skills from Demand Creation - Relationship Suite.
Enable Schneider to become a 'thought leader' on automation applications in the UK through the relevant forums and influencing groups.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and key internal contacts to ensure Schneider meets or exceeds expectations?
Identify, understand, and provide a total value proposition/complete solution to the customers’ business needs - Create ‘One’ Schneider business plans for each of your key accounts that sit within your named account list.

Experience:
Experience in either successfully delivering growth through managing an offer or extensive experience in the customer interaction at a prescription level for protection solutions is essential for this role. Demonstrate excellent customer service standards. Demonstrate good self-control whilst working under pressure. Excellent communication skills at all levels (written, verbal and presentation) Strong technical knowledge – Proactive to stay current in the Energy industry and key features and applications for all Schneider solutions and offers. Demonstrate self and team leadership, organisation and motivational skills. Demonstrates strong business acumen with up to date knowledge of segment business trends.
