Snr Product Manager - Prime

Amazon is looking for a talented, smart Senior Product Manager to make a dramatic impact on the growth of Amazon Prime in the UK.

Amazon Prime is a fast-growing membership program providing millions of customers in the UK with unlimited fast delivery on millions of items sold by Amazon, access to Prime Music and unlimited streaming of Prime Instant Video. Since its introduction in the US in 2005, Prime has become an important engine of global growth for Amazon. Prime members buy more items, shop more often, and spend more than the average Amazon customer. Since the 2005 US launch of the program it has expanded to include programs in the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. As the program continues to grow, it has become an increasingly meaningful source of competitive advantage in the online and traditional retail categories and is a critical building block to Amazon’s success.

We are looking for a Product Manager who shares Amazon's passion for the customer, understands the importance of compelling programs as well as the value Prime offers to customers and Amazon. This position is responsible for improving the current program’s value proposition, developing improved analysis and insight into our members and member growth, and driving activities for member acquisition and retention.

The position is based in London, and reports into the UK Prime Senior Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with other Prime product managers across EU and US.


The Senior Product Manager for Prime is a passionate customer advocate within Amazon and has a deep understanding of the importance of the program for our customers. To that end, he or she must be able to develop a clear strategy and business rationale for enhancement to and expansion of our delivery solutions.
The candidate will have proven marketing and analytical capabilities, strong persuasive writing skills, the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. He/she must also have a proven track record of developing programs and marketing efforts to acquire customers to new programs or services.
· BSc. or equivalent
· Proven track record of customer obsession
· Proven track record in project and program management
· Several years e-commerce or product/program management
· Ability to think both strategically and tactically
· Ability to prioritise in an ambiguous environment
· Outstanding influencing skills, driving sense of urgency and engagement throughout the organisation.


· MBA or Masters
· Experience with subscription businesses.
