Your Mission:
Responsible for hierarchical management of operator teams via Team Leaders. Manage the assembly/manufacturing teams at process level in order to meet customer needs in terms of health and safety, quality, customer satisfaction and productivity.

Your responsibilities:
Key objectives in this role are around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency & Improvement and People Management.
You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient working environment through the application of 5S and our internal safety standards. Reacting to production problems within the hour to ensure shift production targets are met, ensuring meaningful data on production losses is collected hourly and to implement timely improvements. In relation to the people aspect your responsibility will be to promote a culture where concerns are raised and resolved and to develop employees through open and honest communication.

About you:
With an electrical engineering or industrial engineering qualification, at a minimum level of HNC or equivalent, you will have applied understanding of current manufacturing techniques e.g.; SPS, SIM, Lean, Kanban, 6 Sigma, MRP. It is essential that you have demonstrable experience of delivering industrial productivity in a similar environment and managing a range of people issues and projects.
