Financial Controlling Analyst (COGS Analyst for Iberia)

The taste
It is a Finance Control role that involves deep analyses in Cost of Goods Sold for Spain and Portugal over 100m EUR per year, that means yearly budgeting, pricing, cost follow up, commentary, provides insight to the market, decision making support. Close team work with Sales, Commercial Finance, Supply and STP. This analyst plays a key role in the ISC Europe transformation, Iberia has 4 different warehouse in country which increases the number of exciting opportunities to explore, will make an impact in the Operating profit of the market, find opportunities and risks in cost. As area is under a significant transformation many challenges and opportunities will arise, self initiative it is very important.

How to serve
• Provides high quality financial support to Europe and the respective Country for Iberia
• Supports the Europe ambition to transform, planning, reporting and analytics that drives business efficiency in cost
• As part of this role, to be responsible for the quality, accuracy, timeliness and financial relevance of the in-country statutory and management information
• Responsible for daily operational accounting and financial activities
• Coordinates and participates to the month-end close, reporting and reconciliation process. Ensures the completeness and the accuracy of financial records
• Responsible for compliances and stability of the internal processes
• Creates high performing finance teams (virtual) across Europe, GB and Shared Services

Ingredients
•University or college degree in finance/accounting
•Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•Hard working personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity
•Fluency in English
•Results orientated and capable of working in a deadline driven environment
•Experience of working in a role requiring significant communication skills with remote locations
•Strong stakeholder engagement skills
•Experience in working with integrated software system is an advantage
