The taste:
The Operations manager is member of the Source To Pay leadership team and works closely with the management of the department, as well as with our key stakeholders and other GDBS teams.
Deep strategic insight is required with significant cross-market and end-to-end functional responsibilities with the aim to drive improved process performance across a number of Diageo markets and to ensure smooth STP operations for in-scope markets.

How to serve:
Own, manage & deliver the STP Reporting Rhythm, including being joined up with the Market
Review agenda
Be a key instrument of change with the whole STP Leadership team
Manage the day to day operational detail of the team
Coordinate the Leadership team engagement
Drive tangible improvement in process performance and transparency on overall performance
Provide potential solutions and create decision support materials for the leadership teams to improve performance
Manage the agenda of the leadership sessions with special focus on performance, risk management, operational excellence initiatives, people and stakeholders
Drive improvement in issue resolution and deliver world-class process support for the end to end STP process
Ingredients:

Degree educated preferably in a business or Procurement related field with project management experience beneficial.
Minimum 6 years of PTP/STP process experience
Working knowledge of PTP and Tactical Procurement processes
Functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas – PTP service delivery, project management, process improvement

Good analytical skills
Comfortable working in an environment of complexity, diversity and ambiguity
Exemplary leadership capabilities, ability to mobilise and motivate a high-performing team across various locations in a fast-changing environment
Proven track record of leading a team to drive successful delivery
Ability to motivate their teams
Strong communication skills
