Inside Sales Representative - UPS Modernisation

Your Mission:

This position is accountable for selling the Schneider service offer in conjunction with the external service sales team and other Schneider business units. This role significantly contributes to the success of the service organization by providing excellent customer service and understanding our customer needs.

Your responsibilities:

1. Account Management - Manage customer relationship‘s to leverage complete Schneider ITB service offer in order to meet customer requirements and secure profitable business and achieve sales objectives. Understand how to prioritise business and spend the appropriate time on the right opportunities. Keep current on customer developments and account history via regular interaction with the customer to maintain acceptable service levels. Build a relationship in which the service sales person is considered as a trusted specialist by the customer.

2. Quote Management - Demonstrates ability to interpret customer’s requirements and to create a quote to meet customer’s exact needs and follow up on outstanding quotations. Basic understanding of commercial terms and conditions. Calculates conversion rates and follows up on outstanding quotations to secure orders, improve quote process and measure effectiveness.

3. Price Negotiation - Demonstrate ability to review competitive situations and make good business decisions following the Schneider ITB discount guidelines. Be empowered to negotiate a deal whilst maintaining the margin level expectation and to seek management approval for deals outside of these rules.

4. Service offer knowledge - Understand Schneider electric service offer especially UPS Modernisation. Able to explain the features and benefits with competitive advantages. Select and propose the most appropriate solution to meet customers’ needs. Recommend new or updated service offerings to integrate customer preference or gain competitive knowledge.

5. Collaboration - Encourage and accept other people's points of view by listening carefully and attentively, express own ideas clearly, adapt structure and level of detail to meet the needs and understanding of others. Understands and address’s non verbal language. Create relationships/collaboration with other teams to ensure all customer needs are met.

6. Reporting and KPI's - Complete sales reports in a timely manner and submit to manager for approva

About you:

A level or above in education;
Account Management, sales support or experience in similar environment;
Customer service experience,
knowledge of UPS, Energy or IT business - not essential but preferable.
