Your Mission:

Schneider Electric's portfolio in unchallenged in the area of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). We are uniquely positioned to provide solutions that provide safe, reliable, efficient and connected power and energy for the built environment. Our Senior Specification Consultants work with consulting engineers and designers to develop solutions for their building energy management system needs. They engage early to identify the critical objectives and align technical solutions to these objectives leveraging the breadth of Schneider Electric architectures, software and systems. Our Senior Specification Consultants are known thought leaders within the industry and have a broad network of professionals in the area of building energy management systems. While the primary focus of our Senior Specification Consultants is to work with consultants and designers they also engage other critical stake holders in the eco-system such as investors, architects, M&E contractors and others. Senior Specification Consultants are successful when they have addresses customers' objectives by designing solutions around Schneider technologies and they emerge as the trusted advisors of their consultants in the area of BEMS. Senior Specification Consultants also lead and mentor engineers within our internal team.

Your responsibilities:

Be aware of project investments in the assigned region and work with Consultants in those projects to propose Schneider Electric technologies aligned to project technical and engineering objectives;

Develop expertise in Critical Power Monitoring and Lighting Control technologies to complement traditional HVAC solutions to cover all aspects of delivery of safe, reliable, efficient and connected power and energy into buildings - develop capability to speak to Mechanical and Electrical disciplines - to position the broader solution;

Become a Trusted Advisor to Consultants and M&E Contractors in the industry and be know widely as a specialist in this field;

Develop Continuous Professional Development (CPD) modules and deliver them to Consultant and Engineering community contributing to the knowledge base of the industry. Write blogs and industry articles to share knowledge and position our company in the industry;

Speak at Industry Events and Seminars both external and organized by Schneider Electric to advise advancements in technology and engineering standards in our industry;

Integrate market intelligence and needs into R&D and Marketing process to drive better Schneider road maps and technologies for the future. Engage with global R&D specialists and marketing professionals to feedback UK requirements and emerging ideas for developing competitive and differentiated solutions;

Capture all activity in our customer relationship management (CRM) tool to ensure collaboration and continuity of efforts;

About you:

Technical qualification relevant to BMS offer i.e. Electrical/mechanical;
IEng qualification desirable;
Experience in similar Commercial/Sales role;
BEMS Market experience Commercial or Technical;
Ability to connect with people and build relationships;
Excellent Communication skills;
Passion for Technology & Innovation;
Full Driving License;

The role requires a strong commercial focus and an ability to create dramatic and disruptive growth actions with tangible sales revenue and margin benefits. The post holder should possess a strong technical awareness of the offers within the business.
