AWS TA Program Manager EMEA

London, United Kingdom

Talent Acquisition Program Manager

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding through markets across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). We have an opening for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Regional Program Manager as an enablement function for achieving hiring targets across all AWS business entities while supporting diversity recruiting and the cascade of Amazon hiring and assessment practices in new and existing markets, across the region.[†]

This role will support two key objectives, the first being to ensure we maintain our hiring bar through the development and implementation of recruiting and assessment practices across the region. We have a highly experienced and fast growing TA function and we play a significant role in ensuring our company culture remains strong. We have several programs that underpin this and a key part of this role will be taking and expanding these programs in new and existing territories, ensuring we have a consistent approach to how we hire and how the business partners with the TA function. Some of this will be achieved through the roll out and enhancement of existing programs, such as our interview skills training course, whereas other elements will be achieved through the implementation of new training and programs. The ultimate goal is to create mechanisms to ensure best practice adherence at all times.

The second objective is to lead and champion our diversity hiring efforts across the region. You will act as the chair and focal point for meetings with both the business and TA leadership, ensuring we have a clear and consistent message to both internal and external audiences. You will also work with internal teams on diversity hiring events, creating replicable models for success. The role will develop and lead the implementation of new diversity recruiting programs such as Career re:Start, a career returner hiring initiative. We have clear goals, your role will be ensuring teams adhere to these goals, creating clarity on our approach.

With all of these programs, we will be keen to monitor success and you will have the responsibility to create a reporting dashboard for TA leadership to track progress.

Above all else it will be critical that you have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
