As part of the IoT & Digital Transformation we have developed our own mobile application development platform.

Job Profile:

Your role would be working both within the core of the mobile framework, the web platform builder and manager and using the tools and libraries to produce client facing mobile application widgets through to full applications.

The mobile application platform targets cross platform devices and is used across our business and partners worldwide. The software libraries include communication stacks, device management predominantly in JavaScript and C/C++. These libraries run on OS Native platforms for MacOS, iOS, Android and Linux and more.

The mobile applications designer will join a team of software developers and participate in the definition, development and support of the libraries mentioned above.

What do you get to do in this position?

· Participate in technical specifications for components to be developed internally or by external contributors to the platform
· Evaluate new technologies that can be integrated in the platform by creating proof of concepts
· Participate in the development and testing of Software libraries for the platform
· Ensure maintenance and bug fixing on all software components
· Be the interface between the users and external vendors
· Provide support for line of business and teammates on your software components for integration in their products

Qualifications

Essential Qualification, Skills & Experience:

· BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering or related field
· 5 or more years experience in development with: C/C++, C#, PHP, MySQL & JavaScript
· OS Native development experience (Using the OS native language)
o iOS for iPhone
o MacOS for Mac
o MS Windows
o Android ( C & Java )
· XCode
· Visual Studio
· Android MakeFile process
· GIT
· Experienced Full Stack Developer
· Experience with communications interfaces
· Knowledge in hardware and software security features
· Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer oriented
· Ability to work well individually and in a highly collaborative, multi-site team

Desired skills and experience:
· Familiar with Agile development methodology
· ALM tools such as Visual Studio Online, Team Forge, GitHub
· Unit test frameworks and tools: CUnit, NUnit
