Seller Risk Mining Investigator

DESCRIPTION

Job Role:

Seller Risk Mining is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, self-starter with a proven track record of performance and results-oriented thinking, familiar with MRI procedures, tools and processes to join the Seller Risk Mining Investigations team. Candidates will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the investigation, prevention and identification of new and existing Fraud MOs.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Detection of new and existing Fraud patterns
A. Manually investigate suspicious accounts that could pose a risk to Amazon, customers or merchants.
B. Report system misses / New MOs, using the ticketing system
C. Report Tools issues and/or improvements to the engineering team
D. Report SOP updates and new SOPs requirements to the content team
E. Report blurb requests and/or updates to the content team
F. Report training gaps and request new training modules
G. Report queuing issues as well as potential improvements

2) Deep Diving
A. Complete weekly deep dives of clustered seller accounts
B. Report fraud model analysis, variable improvements/suggestions, system misses, tool issues/improvements, investigators misses, SOP improvements, blurbs issues/improvements
C. Compile deep dives and deliver analysis on root cause of Fraud patterns/trends

3) Escalations
A. Support the EU business and management
B. Handle escalations from EU management, providing deep-dives and/or assistance
C. Highlight success stories to relevant stakeholders

4) Reporting Fraud
A. Weekly meetings/global calibration to follow-up actions items related to Fraud
B. Drive action items to completion

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to work with remote managers/teams
· Having a demonstrated ability to identify fraud patterns and taking appropriate action
· Ability to make decisions in a timely manner with incomplete or ambiguous information
· Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
· Demonstrated positive, results oriented attitude and passion for customer security
· Excellent understanding of TRMS tools and processes
· Demonstrated experience in using the Trouble Ticketing system
· Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority
· Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in other European languages an advantage.
