Purpose of the role:

The future of marketing demands that our marketing is purpose driven and personal at scale. Digital for us in marketing play a strong role in delivering personalized and purpose driven connection with our consumers. The purpose of this Role is to ensure that all the brands have brilliant digital plans and programs as a core element and keeping Diageo on the cutting edge of innovation.

TOP Accountabilities:

Develop and support the implementation of cutting edge Digital marketing strategies and methodologies to ensure Diageo delivers excellence in Digital strategy and delivery;
Ensure the brand teams are delivering best in class Digital plans which are fully evaluated;
Lead the approach on all our digital assets, concentrating on their performance effectiveness;
Be the key connection point into the Global digital team, making full use of its reporting & social intelligence tools, data platform & technology, and governance to maximize performance;
Lead digital data analysis, measurement & evaluation in market, optimizing in market and feeding results and findings into global conversations;
Keeping up to speed with the latest developments in Digital Marketing, identify new opportunities to improve our digital programs effectiveness and running test & learn programs;
Educate and upskill our marketing community;
Select and work with all our digital agency partners to ensure we can get the most out of them and we are doing rigorous performance measurement.

Qualifications and experience required
Essential:

Experienced in digital marketing theory and practice, strong experience of digital marketing delivery across all key areas;
Experience of working with Digital Marketing agencies and traditional agencies (including handling commercial arrangements);
Ability to align and succeed through others, ability and experience in consulting, coaching and training;
Wired on all new and emerging technology trends and Marketing opportunities;
Confident, influential and able to speak credibly;
Gravitas – must be able to influence brand teams and also influence upwards to senior members of the team;
Pro-active and able to set own agenda and meet all deadlines.

Desirable:
Agency side experience, Experience of Relationship Marketing (CRM), FMCG or Service brand experience,
Post-graduate Digital Marketing qualification.
