An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic, growing Distribution Business Unit. This is a national role so will be home based.

Your mission

As an experienced Key Account Manager, you will be required to establish and build high level relationships quickly with a multitude of clients within HQ, key regional offices and top performing branches. You will be required to switch easily between operational day to day activity and strategic discussions, therefore driving growth via both marketing and sales activities.

Your responsibilities

•Own the account and the business account plan
•Negotiate Yearly contracts along with drive to hit quarterly, annual quota’s and targets
•Drive together with the marketing team the promotions calendar/ promotions
•Maintain alignment across the business units via mix management
•Manage the price positioning and price waterfall to avoid margin erosion
•Drive process improvement in supply chain and forecasting to improve Customer Satisfaction
•Simplify and facilitate the communication strategy
•Suggest demand creation campaigns + competitor switch out along with managing new width of wallet product development areas
•Build a plan around our strategic hero product launches
•Create growth via training and creating demand with our distribution partners

You will be expected to develop strong relationships quickly when leads are identified and establish a strategy with the customer. It is therefore essential that you have extensive experience of identifying and influencing senior key decision makers, up to C Level. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing and managing the commercial strategy for the Distribution team at Schneider Electric so any contacts or networks in this industry would be advantageous.

We are looking for a strong sales professional with a talent for marketing, who will develop and grow accounts for Schneider Electric and you will therefore be articulate and have the ability to think on your feet.

The successful candidate will be selling the complete portfolio of Schneider Electric by working across our different business units. Experience of selling within a matrix organisation would therefore be beneficial and good internal stakeholder management will also be important.

Schneider Electric product knowledge is not required. For the right candidate, who will be a strong Key Account Sales person, full product, services and solution training will be given.
