Context
Within a maintenance & operational environment the job holder will be responsible for

Implementing the sites control and instrumentation control systems strategy
Own and regulate site SIL systems, Investigate trips, advise strategy
Support continuous improvement of sites control strategy
Participate in the development of common engineering standards across International Supply Centre
Ensure compliance with change management protocol
Supporting the capability development of the trades teams
In conjunction with maintenance manager ensure compliance with COMAH, ATEX, and DSEAR, legislation and all other statutory obligations
Participate in Root Cause Problem Solving sessions and work towards site KPI’s
Continue to drive reliability of site control systems and to support improvements in asset availability
Implement coding changes across Cameronbridge ABB platforms and manage changes across Leven Spirit Supply Siemens PCS7 systems
Develop amazing relationships with key partners to drive new levels of supplier performance

Purpose of the Role
To deliver a world class control systems strategy and support which meets or exceeds current safety and legislative standards.

Support our objectives of continuous improvement of safety, asset availability and reliability

Ensure that the asset care team has the capability to support the control systems at Cameronbridge and Leven Spirit Supply

Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Change management protocol is consistently and comprehensively applied to control systems
Deliver new levels of reliability in control systems to support the Asset Care work stream
Supporting the capability growth of the maintenance team
Carry out changes to systems without jeopardising safety or causing loss to production.
Further develop asset care strategy for control systems

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

Minimum HND control and instrumentation discipline or the ability to work towards.
NEBOSH Certificate or the ability to work towards.
COMPEX Trained or the ability to work towards

Experience

Process experience in Whisky industry desirable
Excellent software and hardware knowledge on:
Siemens PCS7 based systems
ABB 800xA DCS (5.0 and 6.0 Versions)
ABB MOD300 DCS
Modicon Based PLC’s
Industrial networks such as Profibus (DP and PA), Modbus, Industrial Ethernet, ASi, OPC, ODBC
Familiar with databases.
