About the Role:
The Director of International Business Affairs is a newly created role. Reporting to the Vice President of International Business Affairs, this role will work closely with our Business Affairs leaders located at our international offices and also with our content partners across the globe. This role’s primary focus is to manage and coordinate content efforts across multiple territories. We’re looking for an experienced executive with strong ability to develop and bring to execution new content opportunities and work across multiple teams and cultures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
· Manage content acquisition efforts in select international territories, including partner management, deal negotiation and implementation.
· Assist the VP of International Business Affairs with various content initiatives, including development of local market segment strategy, deal structures and partnership opportunities.
· Research and identify new partnership opportunities, develop relationships, and engage with content partners throughout the world.
· Leverage internal analysis and monitor external trends to drive content acquisition and development decisions.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues that may prevent team’s ability to meet its strategic goals.
Basic Qualifications:
· B.A. or equivalent degree required
· Proven success in content acquisition or business development at a digital media company.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Solid verbal and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple manner across different levels of an organization.
· Resourceful self-starter with an independent attitude and focus on excellence.
· Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment.
· Strong organizational and project management skills are also required along with the ability to work with cross functional teams under aggressive deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
· MBA or Law degree.
· International experience.
· Significant experience working with external partners.
