Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking an experienced Associate - PHE. The Associate will be responsible for developing technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Shall oversee the work of less experienced Engineers and Designers. The position will be responsible for managing the design team and developing technically sound solutions, preparing design documentation for international projects, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing intermediate and junior members of engineering staff.

Job Duties
Discuss and understand complete scope of work and the specific project requirements and set up a team to execute the work in a given time frame.
Monitor closely the design /drawings and all relevant documents to ensure quality of output.
Provide high level technical expertise when applying International engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.

Possesses strong organizational and communication skills, as the role requires constant coordination with the Project Managers and the technical design team to ensure the requirements of the work is documents, understood, and met.
Demonstrating written and verbal English communication skill proficiency effectively communicating complex design and engineering issues.
Experience in design work using both imperial units of measure and metric and the design software/applications used on International projects.

The position will be responsible for managing the public health design team and developing technically sound public health design solutions, preparing public health design documentation for international projects, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing intermediate and junior members of public health engineering staff.
Reviewing and checking public health reports and drawings to ensure quality of output.
Provide high level technical expertise when applying public health engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
Communication to governmental authorities.

Specific Skills Required:
Excellent Communication Skill required.
Managerial Skill, team leading exp required.
Experience in the design of the Public Health Engineering (Sanitary and storm water drainage, cold and hot water domestic water supply, gas storage and distribution systems, miscellaneous piping services, etc.).
International working experience – UK preferably

Minimum Requirements
Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
Experience in leading project teams.
Experience in delivering International projects.
12+ years of experience on working in design of High Rise Building projects, Industrial and Infrastructure Projects.
Design experience in international projects, working to American/European Codes.
Experience of design in the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, using latest design and construction technologies including pre- and post-tensioned structures, temporary structures and façade systems.
Experience in the design of the heavy and medium industrial steel structures

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural etc.)
