This role is accountable to lead the transformation agenda in Rest of World (non Europe) for BPM and Financial Planning in line with the global finance transformation strategy. You will be required to deliver the step change needed to take Diageo to a peer group leading finance function for both planning and reporting processes measured in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency.

This role leads the deployment of the BPM and Planning solutions in Europe ensuring a consistent and standardised global solution that will meet business requirements both globally and locally but also deliver the step change needed to take Diageo to a peer group leading finance function measured in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency.

Top Accountabilities

To manage the deployment of both the 18 month rolling financial forecast process and associated systems solution and the BPM Transformation reporting and analytics programme including implementing a new CoE operating model for Europe at pace
Align markets and corporate functions around the ambition, and hold to account through delivery.
Work with Europe finance leadership team to drive change through the countries in Europe, being accountable for the end state solution and the step change being delivered to Finance as a whole.
Oversee transition of work and roles into DBS and COE, as appropriate
Lead change and culture work to ensure sustainability of ambition
Accountable to deliver the financial benefits associated with the work stream by F19.

Qualifications and experience required

Academic or professional qualifications in finance
Experience of managing complex projects or programmes and the associated change management elements to these is an advantage
Experience of working in or with finance/shared service environments
Ability to work with multiple countries and cultures effectively
Experience interpreting business requirements, recognizing impact on business processes, and leading to a highly effective solution and transformation plan
Proven ability to impact and influence at a senior stakeholder level virtually across markets with solid networking, influencing and communication skills.
Needs to be a very visible, credible leader, ability to lead others through ambiguity to drive clarity of execution.
