Job Summary
The LNG Maintenance Manager is a member of the Maintenance (FMC) team reporting to the FMC Operations Manager.

The LNG Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of all Future Fuel Projects, and LNG Programmes. He/she will deliver end to end project services within programme deadlines within a set of clear performance indicators. HSSE is the most important of the KPI’s and the project manager must show a strong track record in operational delivery of HSSE processes and communication.

This role will require significant interaction with the Client Team to maintain seamless communications and client confidence on all project delivery progress.

The programme of work is fast moving and extremely demanding; this role will require strong management and leadership skills to motivate contractors and colleagues and provide excellence in execution.

Role purpose:

Manager the delivery of client and AECOM HSSE requirements Manage the delivery of projects to the programme
Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budgets
Where appropriate, deliver savings on build projects and Programmes
Manage the delivery of dealer projects and programmes to approved time and cost
Attend regular safety meetings, ensure messages conveyed to the operational staff and contractors, manage the safety messages into the projects and audit to give confidence that the safety is being implemented in accordance with client and AECOM HSSE processes and procedures. Feedback safety learning’s into the Safety Manager to provide continuous learning for the whole team. Provide safety training for operational staff and look for opportunities to give training to the supply chain.
Member of Project Managers Delivery Team charged with delivering projects to time, cost and quality standards. Lead Project Meetings to deliver all the stages of project development; delivery and close out, for example, scoping visits; design reviews; post tender meetings; cost plan reviews; pre-start meetings; regular site progress meetings; high quality handovers; financial close meetings; and safety audits.
For Future Fuel projects, ensure compliance to all technical standards while giving the solutions sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
Management of supply chain partners will form a large part of this role; ensuring that they perform to required and agreed project execution plans to meet the clients desired outcome. Ensure that work is delivered within the agreed values of AECOM and the client.

LNG retail in Netherlands and Belgium
Operation and maintenance of LNG retail stations
Performance management of the LNG retail stations & application of continuous improvements
Change management for design improvements
Contractor (L3) management for maintenance and operations activities
Incident investigations of incidents at LNG retail stations
Legal compliance of LNG retail stations

Role Location

You will be based in The Hague but there will be a significant amount of travel around the Country. The role is expected to be field based but this may change from time to time dependant on programme needs.

Minimum Requirements
Higher technical degree (HTS) process engineering/chemical engineering
min 5yrs in process industry in management/supervisor role
Experience in incident investigation, change management and continuous improvement
Technical background in process management
HSSE Leadership
Confident and capable individual with strong client focus
Recognised construction or design qualification (or similar experience)
Experience in managing complex technical projects
Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment
Ability to work under pressure and to tight dead-lines
Knowledge level in process safety
Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word
Full Driving Licence

Preferred Qualifications
Management qualification
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in LNG or cryogenic liquids is advantageous
