About The Opportunity
In this role, you are responsible for the overall quality performance of the global supply chain. Your objective is to reduce the operational risk of Fokker Elmo by evaluating, improving, developing, embedding and maintaining the supplier quality performance and processes of the total supply chain (e.g. suppliers, supplier’s sub-tiers, sub-contractors, FE and her customers). The results will realize reduced quantity of material related complaints, claims and rework which influences the efficiency and results of the company in a positive direction. This process is demanded by Fokker Elmo’s customers, governmental authorities and 3rd party organizations (e.g. IL&T/NADCAP/EASA etc.).

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are:
Communicate the quality performance of the supply chain, improvements realized etc. to Senior Management;
Functionally manage and coach the local Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE);
Manage supplier relationship with quality counterparts;
Escalation for local SQE and defining necessary actions in case of (e.g. involvement Procurement);
Evaluate, improve, develop, embed and maintain tools to compare supplier performance results;
Develop process & procedural improvements and embed in the Fokker Elmo organization;
Lead escalation situations related to quality issues and be the direct contact for the Program Quality Engineer(s) in case of NoE releases, customer audits etc.
Your skills and competences are:
To be successful in this role, you have obtained a Bachelor and a functionally related education (Global 8D / Six Sigma / APQP-PPAP / etc.). You have approximately 8 years of practical work experience and are willing to travel (15-20%). Experience in the Automotive will be seen as preferential. Other important requirements are:
Knowledge of materials, production and quality processes etc.;
Knowledge of English, verbally and in writing;
You possess a healthy dose of persuasiveness and you are a strong, result driven dynamic personality;
You are able to make a quick scan of the maturity of a supplier and adjust the further conversation based upon the analysis performed;
You have a positive attitude and can handle pressure;
You are able to work with world-wide cultures and their specific requirements;
You are analytical, accurate and structured;
You have an excellent advisory opinion.
