About The Opportunity
In this role you lead a multi-disciplinary team in the operating company, in which disciplines like Finance, Procurement and Engineering are represented. You are responsible for setting the demand for excellent program execution both commercially and operationally and you ensure fulfillment of the contract with the customer within time, quality and budget. To realize this, you compile an Operational Plan and ensure this agreed upon with all stakeholders. Extra attention is given to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational activities, with targets focused on labor spent, procurement, quality and process. You will be based in Hoogeveen and report to the Sr. Program Manager.

Your team:
The Program Management team leads the implementation of the OneFokker way of working. We work across the borders of the Fokker Operating Companies and/or functional disciplines. Whether it is Commerce, Finance, Operations or Engineering: our cooperation and efforts are aimed at providing excellent service to our customers. We share our fascination for (aerospace) technology and the ambition to put a OneFokker autograph on every advanced airplane.

The focus and goal of every program is to provide excellent service to the key-accounts of Fokker. Programs include commercial key accounts like Airbus or Gulfstream and defense programs like the NH-90 chopper or the F-35. There is a difference between non-recurring (design/development of new products) and recurring (improving existing operations) programs.

A program consists of several projects. Separate activities or goals, but obviously strongly connected. Typically, projects are defined within the boundaries of an operating company. Projects differ: in (for example) organizational or commercial complexity, scope, budget, timing or the number of different disciplines involved.

Key Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
In addition to the responsibilities described above, other responsibilities include:
Regularly report on progress and results in relation to agreed KPI’s and take measures in case of deviations;
Manage your stakeholders: your (multi-disciplinary) team, the Program Management organization, management of the operating company and last but not least your customer;
Support and (asked and unasked) advise the Program Director, for instance in relation to strategy, vision, objectives and planning.

Your skills and competences:
As winning candidate you have a background as technical project manager with several years of relevant experience (preferably in the high tech assembly industry) and a concluded education on bachelor or academic level. You have a proven track record and affinity with financial aspects of contract negotiations, contract fulfillment and contract monitoring. You are ready to join a relative young team and take the next step and motivated to be successful in a challenging, high-pace and complex environment. You have excellent project management competencies, ditto analytical skills and are a strong communicator (both written and verbal in Dutch and English). Finally you are an influencer who’s able to inspire, motivate, develop the team and gets the job done internal as well external in any circumstance.
