About The Opportunity
The Programme Manager, among other activities, will be responsible for ensuring the Programme runs to schedule and cost (including P&L responsibility) and that the Senior Management team is kept up to date throughout the progress of the Programme.
The successful applicant will be the main interface with the Customer and will be expected to report on the progress/status of the Programme to the Customer, therefore exceptional communication skills is paramount for this role. In addition to the above you will be expected to motivate and organise individuals/teams at all levels throughout the organisation, as well as the customer team in order to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have the drive to succeed and be self-motivated to achieve Programme and business milestones.

An Engineering or Operational background, alongside previous project / programme management experience is paramount. Possessing a strong understanding of Financial, Quality and Procurement aspects is also essential for the role; alongside an awareness of contract procedures and risk management.

Prince 2 / APMP Programme Management qualifications are desirable but not essential for the position, however the successful candidate must be willing to undertake all relevant training provided by the company. Computer literacy, adaptability and ability to deliver in testing and time-bound environments are all attributes which are crucial to this position.
