As Operations Assistant, you will: • provide administrative support across a wide range of operational matters central to the effective running of the School, including HR, Estates and Health and Safety. • work cohesively across the School to provide support for financial processing for all School activities, and will be responsible for daily operational duties such as stationery supplies and departmental post. • be responsible for the administration of School events, such as conferences and seminars, and will be the main point of contact for all travel and catering bookings. • work closely with your job share partner, communicating effectively to ensure appropriate handover of responsibilities. • flexibly across the Professional Service team to provide support at times of peak workloads, and to ensure the effective delivery of key operational duties. The successful candidate will have GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications/experience), good IT skills and experience of working in a busy office environment, preferably within a Higher Education setting.
