Summary: The School of Education is internationally renowned for its research excellence and teaching quality, providing a broad range of undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research degree programmes. This fixed-term appointment will contribute to the co-ordination and delivery of teaching within the School of Education. You will provide teaching support across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including on our suite of distance learning time programmes. You will be responsible for the delivery of lectures and seminars, undertake marking duties, provide supervision and pastoral support to students and undertake administrative responsibilities on the programmes as required.

The successful candidates will hold a first degree in Education or a related area and have a proven teaching ability, ideally with a recognised teaching qualification. You will have a demonstrable excellence in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and an ability to construct and utilise teaching methods/aids as a means of enhancing student understanding and experience.
