Your Role in Our Growth
This Senior Partner Manager will lead a team of experienced Associate Partner Mangers focusing on merchants within the small and medium business segment. This is a player/manager role where you will carry an individual target in addition to team management. The scope of the role will entail:
· Prospect, call, qualify and win high value and/or strategically important merchants for Amazon Pay.
· Manage and motivate a team Associate Partner Managers delivering high growth in the Amazon Pay business.
· Create new internal business processes, tools, structures, etc to drive growth/continuous improvement and create new opportunities for Amazon Pay and our team.
Operating in a fast-moving and challenging environment, Amazon’s high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and target driven, skilled in phone based sales, able to work autonomously and take full control and responsibility for achieving the quarterly sales target.
Who We Are Looking For

A Leader:
· Become a thought leader by developing deep understanding of the Amazon Pay technical product and value proposition.
· Demonstrate a track record of success in winning merchants for Amazon Pay
· Partner with internal teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth and guide the direction of our product.
· Help build a multi-level relationship engagement between the merchant organization and Amazon.
· Posses an internal drive to thrive and succeed in the ambiguity of our start-up environment.

Communication & Reporting:
· Develop and communicate clear expectations- and closely manage performance of your direct reports
· Work with direct reports to create their development plans and actively work in their career development
· Drive content for internal business communications highlighting various initiatives, successes, and platform improvement opportunities through voice of the merchant.
· Prioritise the needs of merchant clients in a manner that balances merchant client needs and internal priorities.
· Be accountable for driving, measuring, and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce.com and other reporting systems.
· Responsible for reporting that feeds into Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Business reviews which you will present at from time to time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in one/more of: sales, ecommerce, payments.
· Undergraduate degree from top tier university
· Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
· Demonstrable negotiation skills and influencing abilities
· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
· Experience working with nascent products/services in new markets
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Effective in dealing with C-suite large and extra-large merchants
· Independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues
· Experience executing on programs and projects with minimal resources

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience as a manager or team lead.
· Composed, poised and professional demeanour in all situations
· Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
