Junior Indirect Tax Analyst

The taste:
Indirect Tax Returns Analyst has to prepare indirect tax returns and other financial and statistical reports based on given checklists and task notes by keeping deadlines and complying with market specifications and regulatory requirements. Indirect Tax Returns Analyst support Senior Indirect Tax Return Analyst and Team Leader by preparing statutory returns, analysis and replying to ad-hoc queries and also contributes his / her ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the indirect tax compliance processes.

How to serve:
•To prepare the statutory returns assigned accurately and on time
•To submit of the statutory returns to the appropriate authorities
•To obtain the sign off on the returns by the relevant person and ensure that the payments are initiated and followed up with the outsourced service provider on time
•To prepare the Balance Sheet reconciliations on time and in a compliant way.
•To follow-up aged or unreconicled items identified during Balance Sheets reconciliation
•To proactively seek for process improvement opportunities
•To participate and contribute to the success of month-end close
•To provide support for the Senior Statutory Returns Analyst and Team Leader on Indirect Tax-related queries and specific projects

Ingredients:
•University or college degree in business (preferably in finance/accounting)
•At least half year of experience in finance
•Experience in working with integrated software system (SAP) is an advantage
•Excellent communication skills
•Customer focussed, able to build excellent relationship with relevant stakeholders
•Good numerical skills
•Reliable, consistent, detail-focussed
•Able to keep strict deadlines
•Able to work under time pressure
•Fluency in English
