The VIE is an international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals. In addition, the candidate cannot come from the country hosting the mission.

1/ During the training period & under supervision, Manage a portfolio of suppliers.

2/ Maintain & Improve the supplier performance ie. delivery on time & quality of goods supplied

3/ Take part in project work to identify, approve & transfer parts to new suppliers, domestic & International.

4/ Learn how to use all tool & techniques employed by Schneider Purchasing Departments

5/ Learn skills such as negotiation to obtain productivity from suppliers.

Education: business & commercial competencies
Technical Field: To be experienced in manufacturing / industrial operations.
Work experience needed: Ideally to have worked in a manufacturing purchasing role previously.
Requested languages (marked as bilingual, fluent, well known, basic knowledge):
English: Good level of skill required both spoken & written.
Other French preferred but not necessary, Hungarian as a “nice to have” but not essential
Personal abilities or skills: Enthusiastic & Results driven, To, be able to demonstrate good influencing skills, Good organisational skills,
